A webinar on delivering ultra-high post-combustion CO2 capture

 Virtual
 Apr 13, 2021

Reporting on design and modelling work to deliver higher levels of CO2 capture for future deployment in post-combustion capture plants.

Register below for our webinar on Tuesday 13th April 3-5pm.

Professor Jon Gibbins, Director of the UKCCSRC and Head of Partnerships for the Translational Energy Research Centre, and Dr Stavros Michailos, Research Associate and specialist in process modelling, are hosting a webinar reporting on findings from a study on the feasibility of capturing 95-99% of the CO2 in the flue gases from combustion sources.

Funded by Research England in order to enable research activity at the University of Sheffield that supports evidence-based policy making, and by the EPSRC’s UK CCS Research Centre.

The webinar will feature:

  • An outline of the report, which looks into design and modelling work that can show how to deliver improvements into the levels of CO2 captured, the future plans for deployment of these findings and how this will support delivery of net-zero targets
  • Audience discussion of the findings
  • Special guest speakers

Use the form below to sign up for the webinar and to receive more information on the session.
