2nd Canadian CCS Study Tour

The Global CCS Institute poudly hosted the 2nd Canadian CCS Study Tour on September 26th to October 5th 2017 in Edmonton, Alberta.  This tour included discussions with Shell and the Alberta Government to understand regulation and policy that enabled CCS to move forward.  The tour also had site tours of the Shell Quest Capture and Storage facility as well as the Alberta Trunk Line Project Capture facilities (North West Refinery and Agrium Fertilizer Plant).  Attendees for the Study Tour were then invited to attend the International CCS Knowledge Centre Symposium in Regina, Saskatchewan, from October 3rd to 5th, where there was discussions around how CCS is being done. The Symposium included a tour of the Boundary Dam Capture facility and Aquistore Storage site.
